Induction period in Baptist University

Hope to adopt the new job smoothly in BU that I feel so strange in a totally new environment, role & working pattern.

In fact in this week, BU provides good induction sessions to new teachers.  I really see BU is a very good organised, passionate and responsible unit in teaching field.  I am so impressed by the spirit and atmosphere thru the harmony of management to the teaching staffs.  And I do not think it is an illusion but I can feel it deeply influencing people.  

10 years

A bit worry about my job, especially I did not work as full time and employed for 10 years.  And very bad to adopt other systems for I know my bad habits.

Social Innovation

Starting to do more research about Social Innovation.

A chart to talk about the value.  Design in the last 20 to 30 years is a kind of industrialized idea to answer the needs.

And design follows function is a kind of discipline but it is now required to be more imply with social needs.  So strategic design come with system to connect the products, services, organization with human needs.

Strategic design, given a road map for company, organization or simply a product innovation.

Social Innovation covers widely to implement human, society and global needs.  It is finding another ways, options and angles to treat an issue.  ( I avoid to say... solving a problem indeed)
