some thoughts from Nice Cafe

It is much difficult to find unique Cafe in Hong Kong.  I realised it is much worse than before, the reason is the rental fee in HK is too high.  It is the top 3 most expensive in the World.

And also the whole HK market is occupied and forced to control by some big companies. They are strategically owing construction companies, supermarkets, chain stores.  So from housing to everyday life products and even wholes sales biz market, we are paying for them non-stoply.  They also let the lands and rents glow rapidly, thus more and more small little unique shops are disappearing for they cannot pay for such a high rent.

So the loop is more other shops closed.  They occupied more and more chains shops in their shopping malls.  People have less and less choices, or they need to pay a very high fees in order to find alternatives.  And the so called "educated people" keep working very hard to keep their standard of living for working very long hours.  And paying 5 millions HK dollars/ 500,000 Euro to buy a 500 square mites flat, that is a master room in Australia.  

People work very hard but they still do not have any choices.  In fact people are stupidly go to the chains shops and chains restaurants.  Then more shops are closing, then less and less choices as a result.  That is phenomena has been told more than 20 years ago but people are too busy and short slights to awake.
